Directions

Lime Tree Lodge (corner of Ballantyne Road and State Highway 6) is situated on State Highway 6, six kilometres (or approximately a 6 minute drive) from the Lake Wanaka resort and 50 kilometres from Queenstown.

From Queenstown

If driving from Queenstown (via Gibbston Valley and Cromwell), Dunedin or Christchurch, head north on SH 6 towards Lake Wanaka. Lime Tree Lodge is located on the left-hand side of SH 6, approximately 2 kms past Wanaka Airport. Look for the Lime Tree Lodge sign on the left-hand side of the road. Turn left into Ballantyne Road. Lime Tree Lodge is the first drive-way on the left.

From Wanaka

If driving from Lake Wanaka, head out of town on State Highway 84 towards Cromwell. Do not take the 1st Ballantyne Rd exit you come to on your right as you leave Ardmore St (it turns into a metal road). Keep driving south on SH 84, past Puzzling World (on your right) towards Cromwell. You will come to a T-junction where SH 84 intersects with SH 6. North-bound traffic turn left at this intersection for the West Coast and Glaciers. Continue straight ahead on SH 6 towards Queenstown. Lime Tree Lodge is located within 4 kms of this junction. Look for the Lime Tree Lodge sign on the right-hand side of the road. Turn right into Ballantyne Road.

From the West Coast

If driving down the West Coast of the South Island via SH 6, turn left at the T-junction where SH 6 intersects with SH 84. Lime Tree Lodge is located within 4 kms of this junction. Look for the Lime Tree Lodge sign on the right-hand side of the road. Turn right into Ballantyne Road.
