Food & Wine

Lime Tree Lodge hosts, Pauline and John, have excellent credentials when it comes to crafting fresh and tasty fare from the very best in local produce.

Wanaka Wine

Living on a remote high country station, subject to the vagaries of snow and weather and far from the local store, has meant Pauline is adept at maintaining a well-stocked pantry – provisioned with a select range of quality, ‘home-made’, ‘home-grown’ and artisan products – from which delicious treats can be whisked up, whatever the occasion!

Guests of Lime Tree Lodge will enjoy hearty breakfasts including...

"fresh fruit; home-bottled stone-fruits (grown in nearby Cromwell, the 'fruit bowl' of New Zealand), home-made muesli, marmalade chutneys & preserves; local honey, bacon, gourmet sausages and free range eggs from their own hens; freshly ground plunger or espresso coffee and an extensive range of Harney & Sons Fine Teas.

Complimentary aperitifs, including hand-made cheeses...

home-made pates and local delicacies such as whitebait fritters, local river salmon and Bluff oysters, are also a Lodge speciality, enjoyed with fine central Otago wines and the Lodge's own Vodka lime gimlets, made with freshly squeezed lime juice.

For something quite memorable, enjoy a lavish 3-course dinner...
